-Ognyan Oreshkov received his M.S. in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2002. He then moved to Los Angeles to pursue doctoral studies in Physics at the University of Southern California, where he obtained his Ph.D. in 2008 under the supervision of Prof. Todd A. Brun. Following his graduation, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Quantum Information Group at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2008-2009) and at the Quantum Foundations and Quantum Information Theory Group at the University of Vienna (2010). From 2011 to 2016, Ognyan was a postdoctoral fellow at QuIC, where he was funded by a Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowship for Career Development and an F.R.S.-FNRS Chargé de Recherches Fellowship. After nine months as a Research Associate at the University of Oxford in 2017, Ognyan returned to QuIC as a permanent F.R.S.-FNRS researcher.  +Ognyan Oreshkov is a Research Associate of the F.R.S.-FNRS.
