Short biography

  • Born in Brussels in 1980.
  • 1997: one year A-Level program at Loughborough College, England.
  • 1998: begins to study engineering at the University of Brussels (ULB).
  • Spent Fall 2002 at the University of texas at Austin (UT) as part of the IMCC exchange program.
  • Graduates in 2003 as an Engineer in Physics from the University of Brussels.
  • Spent winter 2003 travelling in South America.
  • In summer 2004, he starts a degree of Advanced Studies (DEA) in Engeneering in Physics at ULB, and is simultaneously working on a PhD thesis at the QuIC.
  • Obtains his PhD in october 2008.
  • 2009: One year postdoc in New York with professor Mark Hillery (Hunter College of the city University of New York) as a BAEF fellow.
